Michael is a Partner at Brickley DeLong with over 30 years experience. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1991, and worked his way from intern to owner at the small firm he worked at before he joined Brickley DeLong in 2019.
Michael works mainly out of the Grand Rapids office, working with a diverse array of clients in different fields and industries with a focus on healthcare and medical professional niche. He also assists small businesses and their owners by providing responsive and resourceful accounting, tax management, and special advisory solutions that meets the specific needs of the business and owner from start-up to plan for sale. Among all this, Michael also has experience in trusts and estates, retirement, pension, employee benefit plans, construction, manufacturing, transportation, and more.
Michael LOVES coffee, and he finds taking clients out to coffee shops to discuss their plans one of the best parts of the job!
